Since our spring Box Tops contest was such a huge hit, we have decided we will add a new one to the fall! The contest begins on Monday, September 19th.
Bring your box tops to school starting that day. Drop them off in the box near front desk. Each box top is worth $0.10. Just remember: they cannot be expired!
The PTC depends very heavily on parent volunteerism. We are fortunate to have many very dedicated parents who step up each year to run committees, but we are always looking for more help! Below are some great volunteer opportunities we hope you will consider.
The PTC Co-Presidents would love some additional help identifying potential new sources of fundraising revenue for the school. We also need help raising sponsorship dollars to cover the up-front costs of organizing the Halloween 5K event as well as donations for our annual calendar raffle that will be held in the spring. If you have great ideas are a particular strength in soliciting donations, the PTC would love to have you as part of the team!
We have one parent who has stepped up and are looking for a co-chair for this role. If you love making photo books or have experience putting together yearbooks, this is a perfect role for you.

The PTC operates with an annual budget of approximately $43,000. 100% of the money raised goes right back to enriching our children's education and growth and to building community and school spirit. This year, the PTC aims to provide funds for a number of great initiatives, including (but, not limited to):
THIS IS OUR LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR and we are aiming for 100% participation.
Any donation amount counts as participation, and this year your family will receive a printed copy of the Hillside School Directory for your participation in our Annual Dues Drive.
To contribute, please send check or cash in the envelope labeled "PTC Dues" to Hillside with your child by Friday, September 30, 2016. Make checks payable to: Hillside PTC. Or, make your donation through PayPal using the button on the upper right orner of this page
